Oak Island's Latest Plotters: The Freemasons!

Self-described "Oak Island Treasure Hunter" Keith Ranville believes he has discovered a Freemason connection to the tantalizingly frustrating Oak Island "Money Pit" complex. On his blog entry at something called the Oak Island Treasure Mystery Canadian Journal of New Research, "Oak Island Masonic Connection," he outlines an explanation for the island's stone triangle and the direction it points. Unfortunately, he gets the supposed Masonic ritual wrong. Ranville alleges that the story of Hiram Abiff has the Temple's architect entering Solomon's Temple complex from the North before being confronted by the ruffians.

But what's a little quibble like this when looking for treasure?

He goes on:

If you look at the oak island stone triangle, it points in the northern direction this would be the entrance of the triangle (temple). The line through the stone triangle would be the ruler (Jubela) south entrance. The west of the stone triangle is the square (Jubelo) west entrance. East of the stone triangle would be the the setting maul tool (Jubelum) east entrance and final direction. Further east of the oak island stone triangle, would be the burial of whomever was in center of the oak island stone triangle (Hiram Abiff or someone anointed as him). It only makes sense that you would bury a triangle figure' in a triangle plot, this would be the birch island triangle, found east of the oak island stone triangle (right angle to right angle). The place of the oak island stone triangle, found south of the money pit, was a place of ritual, most likely masonic. [Um, yes, most likely...] The oak island area may have been a area that many mystic people visited and performed there [sic] rituals and gave offerings. [Based on what?]

The oak island theory's get deeper as the treasure mystery deepens, these are exciting times for oak island. [I feel a tingle up my leg already.] I am not a freemason [Color me astonished.], but I find them mysteriously interesting, there [sic] basic symbols caught my attention' a long time ago. And I believe there [sic] secrets are encoded in the basic understanding of there [sic] symbolism. It is canny [huh?] that Hiram Abiff was killed by two directional tools, then by a blunt tool at the end of his demise, this probably explains the line through the oak island stone triangle and a right angle square, as a significant clue in solving the oak island mystery.

Did you get all that significance?

BTW, Ranville has a Paypal link, in case you wish to donate to further fund his new research. It seems the Oak Island Treasure hunting business hasn't quite paid off yet. But any day now...

Is Exeter, NH the East Coast "Roswell"?

A multi-part article in www.seacoastonline.com (Part 1 is here) relates accounts of UFO sightings in and around Exeter, New Hampshire, dating all the way back to 1693, when the town was founded by upstarts booted out of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

According to a journal quoted in today's article, describes the "Incident at Exeter":

"In this year (1639) one James Everell, a sober, discreet man, and two others, saw a great light in the night at Muddy River. When it stood still, it flamed up, and was about three yards square; when it ran it was contracted into the figure of a swine: it ran as swift as an arrow towards Charlton, and so up and down about two or three hours. They were come down in their lighter about a mile, and, when it was over, they found themselves carried quite back against the tide to the place they came from. Diverse other credible persons saw the same light, after, about the same place."

Modern sightings have been reported since the 1970s (possibly from nearby Pease AFB), although one group of blueberry pickers from Newton reported a UFO in a field with "little beings" collecting soil samples.

Even Congressman Dennis Kucinich (who—is this a punchline?—had a UFO encounter while visiting Shirley MacLaine's house) quipped during the presidential campaign he was going to open a campaign office in Roswell, NM and Exeter, NH.

(Photo: Andrew Ulery, manager of Exeter's "Loaf & Ladle" points to the location where he saw a "glowing orb" in the sky, using an umbrella left in his restaurant by Barack Obama during the primary season. No, really.)

UFO Group Pressures Obama To Release X-Files

An organization calling itself the Extraterrestrial Phenomenon Political Action Committee (X-PPAC) has written to the President-Elect and demanded that he "end the six-decade truth embargo regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race".

The group is asking Obama to insist on a "full briefing from your military services and intelligence agencies regarding what they know" as well as open congressional hearings "to take testimony from scores of government witnesses who have already come forward with extraordinary evidence and are prepared to testify under oath."

X-PPAC believes they have at least two champions in Obama's incoming White House staff. Both John Podesta, who is running Mr Obama's White House transition team, and Bill Richardson, the Governor of New Mexico, who is expected to secure a cabinet post, have both professed public belief in UFO sightings.

From an article in the Telegraph yesterday:

Of course, us shape-shifting reptilian Freemasons will put a stop to THAT.
When he was the White House chief of staff under Bill Clinton, Mr Podesta led a project to declassify 800 million pages of intelligence documents. In a press conference, still available to watch on the YouTube website, Mr Podesta said: "It is time for the government to declassify records that are more than 25 years old and to provide scientists with data that will assist in determining the real nature of this phenomenon."

Gov Richardson, a former presidential candidate and fellow UFO aficionado, has written a forward to a book on the so-called Roswell Incident in New Mexico, where campaigners believe an alien spacecraft crash landed near the town of Roswell in 1947 and that the corpses of humanoid aliens have been kept hidden under lock and key by the government.
He has called for full disclosure by the Pentagon of what really occurred and reiterated his belief that there had been a "cover-up" during a presidential debate last year.

The campaigners, who want the truth "out there", believe that the British Government's decision to declassify thousands of UFO sighting documents this year has made it untenable for the US to maintain its policy of non-disclosure.
Only last week a US Air Force pilot, Milton Torres, whose testimony was released from the British archives, appeared on US television explaining how he was ordered to shoot down a large UFO over the UK in 1957 and then silenced by military officials, who told him never to speak of the incident.

Stephen Bassett, Executive Director of the Extraterrestrial Phenomenon Political Action Committee, expects to have gathered 40,000 signatures via email and fax by Mr Obama's inauguration day on Jan 20 in support of his calls for openness.
